 India Post Recruitment 2020: 2,582 vacancies for 10th pass with salary up to Rs 14,500; apply now

Candidates will not have to take any examination or interview for the post and will be selected on the basis of their class 10 marks

India Post Recruitment 2020: India Post has invited applications for the recruitments of Gramin Dak Sevaks. As many as 2,582 posts are on offer and any person who is at least 10th pass and in the eligible age group can apply for the post. The online application process started on November 12 and the last date is December 11, 2020.  

Candidates will not have to take any examination or interview for the post and will be selected on the basis of merit of their class 10 marks. Higher qualification candidates can also apply for this post, but the selection will be based only on the marks of the 10th. Under 2,582 Gramin Dak Sevak Recruitment, the posts of Branch Postmaster, Assistant Branch Postmaster and Dak Sevak will be filled.

Age limit:

The minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years, while the maximum should be 40 years. The age limit will be calculated from November 12. Relaxation in the maximum age limit will be provided to the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, OBC and Specially-abled candidates.

Educational qualification:

The candidate must have passed the 10th standard from a recognised school education board. It is necessary for the applicant to have passed Maths, Local Language and English in class X and at the same time, it is also necessary to study the local language by 10th.Candidates who have passed the 10th examination in their first attempt will be given preference in the selection process.No separate preference will be given to the candidate having more qualifications than the mandatory educational qualification.

Salary:- Rs 12,000 to Rs 14,500 for Branch Post Master

Stage 1. Registration Initially candidate has to register in the Registration module once per cycle and obtain unique registration number

Stage 2. Fee Payment UR/OBC/EWS Male/Trans-man need to make fee payment. In Case of online payment, if no confirmation is received after the deduction of amount from candidate's bank account, candidates can await upto 72 Hours for settlement.

Offline payments can be made at any Head Post Office. List of Post Offices

Stage 3. Apply Online Step 1 . Fill Application. Step 2 . Upload documents. Step 3 . Submit Post preferences. Preview and take print out.Completion of these three steps will only be treated as submission of application.
